Adding video from vodpod

Published by Mike Temple under Video

  1. -Start or edit your post
  2. all the following assume you have a video uploaded to vodpod
  3. I’ll add a post for this
  4. On the post editor, click the button that looks like an “f” in a circle, towards the right side of the toolbar
  5. -Where it says “Enter URL here”, enter just the ’src’ part of our widget code.
  6. delete the first bit of the code that says <embed src=”
  7. when it asks put in width 501 height 428
  8. this will produce a bit of code which starts [kml_flashembed movie="http://
  9. save the post

" width="501" height="428" /]

Adding Quimble voting to your blog

Published by Mike Temple under Under development

  1. Register (free) with www.quimble.com
  2. click on new
  3. Add in a question
  4. Put in the voting options
  5. click on add an option if you need more than one
  6. Click create poll
  7. Under the tools menu, click on add to my blog/web
  8. copy the code
  9. If you wish to change the size, you will need to take both parts of the code and edit the 200 and make it smaller or larger - this can be a bit of trial and error
  10. Begin writing a new post in Edublogs (you can add this to your sidebar - see adding widgets to sidebar under customising)
  11. type the any instructions you may wish to add
  12. then click on the code tab
  13. paste your code in (edit paste)
  14. save the post
  15. the poll will now be in your post, ready to use

Still working on this for the posts - but it seems to work for the sidebar

Welcome to blogging

Published by Mike Temple under Getting started

If this is your first look at a blog, let me explain.

A blog is simply a series of articles (posts) written by you and can be seen on the internet. If you can send an email, you can write a blog post
