Podcasting - where do you start?

Published by Mike Temple at 3:07 pm under Podcasting

I had a comment from Kim on podcasting and this was my response

I know podcasting does look a bit of a secret society, only accessed by the technologically competent, but in fact there are some simple steps you can take.

Rather than run you through everything, it’s probably better to point you to some resources I’ve collected on my professional blog under Podcasting (72)

Also if you do a search for audacity on my site Open Resource Centre, you’ll get some video tutorials which should help, or search on Google for audacity

You can also check out my Vodpod videos

By the way, all you need is a PC, microphone (often built in to laptops), audacity (free) and edublogs (free) and you can broadcast to the world - unless you have a Mac in which case it’ll probably do it all for you

Please let me know if this helps you out or if you need any more info - I’ll post it in more detail of required
